It is my hope that as you enjoy your Memorial Day parades and picnics this weekend, you will take a moment or two to reflect on the reason for the holiday and the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who fought--and continue to fight--to keep us free and safe. Thank a veteran--and give generously to the American Legion vets who accept your contributions at this time every year. Display your poppy proudly!
